Sorry if not the appropriate forum. Really old as per Apple, It is a 2012-mid model, A1286. They call it "Vintage" model. It is currently on High Sierra. I have added 8GB memory to it. I keep getting prompted to install Catalina, but i afraid it will cripple this old soul. But installing most of the new versions of software is out of the question and I am running a lot of old versions in this laptop. I could put an SSD in it to improve the hardware side, but can i improve the OS side?
