This mini-guide provides a structural approach to troubleshoot and fix the issue.

Prerequisites

  • Confirm your hardware specifications (CPU, GPU, Motherboard).
  • Ensure you have a bootable recovery USB and backup your EFI.

Fix Steps

  1. Check if your GPU requires WhateverGreen or specific boot-args (e.g., agdpmod=pikera).

  3. Update Lilu and WhateverGreen to the latest versions.

Verification

  • Reboot and verify if the functionality is restored and stable under typical usage.

Original Question:

'driver hfsplus.efi at 0 cannot be found' - Drivers folder cannot be read

Drivers not detected, whilst clearly in the correct folder and well written in the config.plist file. anyone might know what could be causing this?

It does boot from the USB stick and read the config file to acknowledge there are 3 assigned drivers, so I do not know why it does not find them in the driver's folder in EFI/EFI/OC/Drivers/HfsPlus.EFI.

I tried reordering it, but that just changes the message to the driver that is assigned to load first.

I also tried multiple PC's and they all show the same error.
