Original Question:

Install macOS Monterey Beta 3 on Lenovo S340 - 14 IWL

After I done succesfully with macOS Big Sur (link here), I try to install the beta version of macOS Monterey on same disk. And yeah, the installation done successfully.

The specs :

The Hardware Specs:

  • CPU: Intel Core i5 - 82565U
  • iGPU : Intel UHD 620
  • dGPU : NVidia MX230
  • RAM : 2x 4GB DDR4 2400
  • Laptop Model : Lenovo S340 - 14 IWL
  • Audio Codec : ALC 257
  • Ethernet : N/A
  • WiFi and BT : Intel AX200
  • Touchpad : Microsoft MSFT I2C HID Interface
  • Display : 14 inch
  • Resolution : Full HD
  • Storage : 1x Generic NVME SSD; 1x Generic SATA SSD
  • macOS Version : Big Sur 11.4 Build 20F71
  • Bootloader : Open Core r0.7.1
  • Boot Mode : UEFI GPT

What are working:

  • Shutdown, Sleep and Restart
  • QE/CI of Intel UHD 620
  • Audio (Internal Speakers, Internal Microphone and Audio Jack)
  • HDMI Video Out
  • HDMI Audio Out
  • All USB Ports
  • WiFi
  • etc;

What are not Working:

  • NVidia MX230 (Not supported by Hackintosh and disable via BIOS)
  • Bluetooth (Disable on config.plist)
  • iService (Not really matter)

What Guidance I use:

The part i got issue:

  • The keyboard will not be able to used on th OC GUI after login into Monterey. I don't know why, but it's back to normal after login into windows or macOS Big Sur.

I dont need to make new efi since i using the same efi i use to boot Big Sur.
