Original Question: "Success: 8 years old X99 still kicking"

MB: ASUS X99-A II, bios 1801 CPU: E5-2680V4 Memory: 4x8G DDR4 2400MHz, non-ECC GPU: Radeon Pro WX8200 8G Disk: Micron MX100 SATA SSD OpenCore 1.0.1 + macOS 14.6.1 Everything works! Although it appears some usb3.0 ports are running at 2.0/1.0 speed but that does bother me at all. But no matter what I do I can't get macOS to recognize my cpu model. The processor is listed as "Unknown" in About this Mac. I do have RestrictEvents in place blocking memory/PCI configuration warnings.
