As the title says I literally don't see this anywhere on reddit or on YT which is pretty sad, given it should be.
I did find in some threads people trying to explain it but those individuals are very vague in their explanations and respectfully don't realize not every knows what they are doing hence why this place exist. Hopefully this is helpful and mods can pin this. Thanks.
Erase and Reset for OCLP devices:
1 - go into recovery via the usb installer (holding down option key while powering up, select efi partition of usb installer)
2 wipe the drive, ie. the Macintosh HD (not the entire drive) (you should only see the Macintosh HD not the entire drive)
3 reboot back to the bootloader window (holding down option at reboot while powering up)
4 you should ONLY see 3 option: -EFI for Internal Drive -macOS installer for that specific OS your installing -EFI for External Drive (select the macOS installer from there NOT from the EFI External Drive)
5 you should be brought back to recovery part and there you just install the macos per normal install.
6 when it finishes and your brought back to the setup screen, turn off the device and unplug the USB installer to insure you did it right.
7 restart the device and you should be back at the setup screen to select country and region.
