submitted by /u/YungMantje69I am trying to install macOS Big Sur on a ivy bridge system. Earlier I tried Monterey but I believe that does not work with an iGPU. However, everytime I try installing Big Sur, it shows 'MacOS Monterey SSD' and says 'This version of Mac OS X is not supported on this platform!'. The BaseSystem files I downloaded and installed are for Big Sur. Does anybody know how I can fix this?
