Safe macOS Update Procedure for OCLP Users

Accidentally clicking 'Update' in System Settings can brick a patched Mac if OpenCore is not updated first to support the new macOS build.

Safe Update Steps:

  1. Update OCLP App First: Always download and install the latest release of OCLP from GitHub before updating the OS.
  2. Build OpenCore to Disk: Click Build and Install OpenCore and install it to your internal drive EFI partition.
  3. Apply OS Update: Go to System Settings and install the update. Re-apply root patches immediately after boot.
