Resolving Sidecar and AirPlay Failures in OCLP
Sidecar and AirPlay to Mac require specific hardware features (like HEVC encoding) that are emulated by OCLP via the FeatureUnlock kext.
Troubleshooting Steps:
- 2FA Requirement: Sidecar requires Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on your Apple ID. If you don't have it enabled, Sidecar will fail with a generic error.
- FeatureUnlock Settings: In OCLP settings, ensure FeatureUnlock is set to 'Full'. Build and install OpenCore again.
- Root Patches: You must have applied the Post-Install Root Patches for your Intel/Nvidia GPU, as Sidecar relies on hardware video acceleration.
- Firewall Check: Go to System Settings > Network > Firewall and ensure it's not blocking incoming connections.
Original Question: "Airplay to Mac and side car not working (Late 2013 MacBook Pro)"
I already tried feature unlock with both partial and full. It just doesn't seem to work and sidecar gives me an error saying my icloud account doesn't use two fsvtor authentication. Any help would be appreciated
