Dual-Booting Ventura and Windows on Legacy iMacs
Dual-booting macOS Ventura and Windows (including Ghost Spectre builds) on an iMac 14,2 is possible with OpenCore.
Installation Order:
- Install Windows First: It is often easier to install Windows 7/10 on a separate partition or drive first using a standard BIOS/Legacy boot.
- Install OCLP: Then, install Ventura using the OCLP USB.
- OpenCore Picker: Once OCLP is installed to the internal EFI, the OpenCore Picker will automatically detect your Windows partition and allow you to choose between them at boot.
- Driver Note: For Windows 7, you will need the specific BootCamp 5.x drivers for the 14,2 iMac to get Wi-Fi and audio working.
Original Question: "Is there any way to install Ventura and windows 7/win10 ghostspectre dualboot?"
I have iMac 14.2 i want to install Ventura and keep my windows 7. Or install windows 10 ghost Spectre after open core installation. Is there any way to do this?
