Restoring Connectivity and Input on Patched Macs
If a macOS Sequoia update disabled your Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and even wired peripherals, the root patches for the USB and Networking stacks have been lost.
Step-by-Step Fix:
- Wired Mouse/Keyboard: If your wired input isn't working, try a different USB port (on Mac Pros, try the back ports). If that fails, you must boot into Safe Mode (hold Shift). Safe Mode loads a minimal set of drivers that usually restores basic USB functionality.
- Revert Patches: In Safe Mode, open OCLP and click Revert Root Patches. Reboot normally.
- Re-apply Patches: Once back at the normal login screen (even if laggy), open OCLP and apply the Post-Install Root Patches. This will reinstall the Sequoia-compatible drivers for your hardware.

 | I recently upgraded to the latest version of Sequoia and now I can’t get past the login screen. I normally use a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and noticed WiFi and Bluetooth is disabled.
