Fixing macOS Boot Hangs after Installing Windows

Installing Windows via BootCamp on an OCLP-patched Mac can sometimes disrupt the OpenCore bootloader path in NVRAM.

Recovery Steps:

  1. Reset NVRAM: Shut down and hold Cmd + Opt + P + R. This resets the default boot path to the internal drive.
  2. Use OCLP USB: Plug in your OCLP USB installer and hold Option on boot. Select EFI Boot (the one with the OCLP icon), then select your macOS partition.
  3. Re-bless OpenCore: Once in macOS, open OCLP and click Build and Install OpenCore to the internal SSD to restore the proper boot sequence.
  4. Post-Install Patches: Re-run the Post-Install Root Patch to ensure all drivers are active.

Original Question: "OCLP + BootCamp fail"

Hello Guys,
I have a 2015 Macbook Pro (15"), with MacOS 15 freshly installed on it. It just came out of the repair shop with a brand new SSD, and MacOS 15 with OCLP installed by them. I installed Win10 with bootcamp yesterday, and when I wanted to go back to MacOS, it started loading, and then got stuck around the 3rd of the loading screen.

I have tried booting from an usb oclp recovery drive, I got black screen.
I have tried injecting oclp back (if i remember correctly that was the term).

I have no idea what could be wrong, however, I already started working on the MacOS part (and I don't have iCloud), so I really dont want to reinstall.

Any help would be appreciated.
