Sequoia on 2015 macbook air - boot loop issue after restore through migration assistant

Hi all....

I have a 2015 Macbook Air dual core i7 and 8gb RAM. I just found open core and have been playing around with it. I had taken a backup via time machine, wiped the drive completely and installed Sonoma. Then I used migration assistant to just restore the account and documents (not system or misc. files.) I had no issues with that at all, files and account restored, apps work fine, and I have no issues.

Followed the same process to try Sequoia. I was able to get a clean boot into Sequoia, but then when restoring with migration assistant, it displayed the "migration assistant will complete after a restart as expected, but then it would just loop over and over. I tried kicking off the migration assistant restore both as part of the initial config wizard during setup, and by running it after completing the startup wizard...same results both times.

I reran the Sonoma install, and the restore worked perfectly. So I'm currently on Sonoma which is fine, but curious if anyone had similar issues with Sequoia?

Thanks all in advance....
