I am new to the hackintosh scene and have been trying to get it up and running for the past few days. I however encounter 3 issues which seem to be deriving from the USB.
To make the drive bootable I used TransMac with a copy of SierraAMD_V5 (have also tried v4). When I attempt to boot it, all goes fine but I occasionally get a message which states "waiting for host" or something along the lines of "host not found" which spams my screen and doesn't progress any further. On the rare occasion that it does work and goes to the installer, it gets stuck at 16/15 minutes remaining. After a further 10 or so minutes it gives me the option to restart but wont do anything if I press it. (If I attempt to open up anything else in the installer e.g terminal during that period it just cuts to a grey screen). I have already tried multiple USB's and have created a bootable drive a few times with no further progression.
Any suggestions?
