Why doesn't this guide use Unibeast?

Hi :) I'd like to install hackintosh on a Dell XPS 9560. I've just read this guide and noticed that it doesn't use Unibeast and, instead, everything is done manually. Why is that? Can I use Unibeast anyway?

Moreover, can I install it in a second partition of the same SSD to be able to dual boot it? Maybe without even formatting the former windows partition?
