I'm trying to get my Mojave installer to boot up from my USB. After following the OpenCore vanilla guide and the laptop guide, I ended up being able to boot to OpenCore and selecting the macOS Mojave Installer.
Eventually, the installer hangs in the middle of scrolling through text, and my laptop begins warming up rapidly, prompting the fan to spin up very loud very quickly.
I end up with this screen, though sometimes it's different when I mess around with kexts and the config. But I'm fairly confident that those don't change the cause of crash.
