I am almost finish setting up my first hackintosh. The last problem I am having is that my headphone jack is reconised as a digital output, and sound comes out from my headphone as well. The problem is, it is way too loud to listen to, and the volume cannot be adjusted. I wonder if there is any way to change it to a headphone output instead, which allows me to adjust the volume of it.
The laptop is GS43VR 6RE, with ALC 899, and I have tried all layouts, and only layout 98 works for the speaker, and the headphone jack.
