One of my hacks, a Haswell I5 with and HD4600 on OC .0.6.1 has a strange hardware acceleration.
It is hardware accelerated no doubt, I have the transparencies in the UI, the graphics card shows in the system as metal compatible and and with correct Vram, I can see on system information that in fact the GPU is being used for common tasks like browsing and navegating the UI. But that is the issue, it uses very little GPU.
Compared to my other machines it’s a very noticiable difference. On other hacks it uses a lot more GPU that on this haswell one for commoen taks, not to mention you tube, that watching a video gets the CPU to 100% with little gpu usage.
What could be the issue?
