How to Fix USB Headphones showing up in Output/Input but no audio?! pls help
Graphics issues usually stem from an unsupported GPU, missing acceleration patches, or incorrect boot arguments.
Quick Fix Steps
- Verify GPU support: Check if your GPU is natively supported via WhateverGreen docs.
- Update kexts: Ensure Lilu and WhateverGreen are current.
- Check boot arguments: Add
-v keepsyms=1 debug=0x100for debugging, oragdpmod=pikerafor AMD. - Test Metal: About This Mac > System Report > Graphics.
Verification
- Graphics acceleration is smooth.
- Metal is reported in System Information.

Hi ! so I thought I got audio to work since my earphones showed up under Output/Input in Sound Preferences, but I'm not getting any audio :') The earphones I'm using has a built in mic which works, but the audio comes out very choppy. I went through the OpenCore post-install guide and did all the steps to fix audio (I also did manual USB mapping which all applied in the IO). Unsure if related, but my monitor’s audio doesn’t work either and it doesn’t show up under Output devices. Any help or advice appreciated !!!!! I know it's not the adapter because it works perfectly on my MacBookPro. I've also tried a borrowed usb mic, but it produces the same choppy audio as my earphones.) Thank you in advance >< [link] [comments] |
