How to Fix Bluetooth not working.
This mini-guide provides a structural approach to troubleshoot and fix the issue.
Prerequisites
- Confirm your hardware specifications (CPU, GPU, Motherboard).
- Ensure you have a bootable recovery USB and backup your EFI.
Fix Steps
- Verify your network controller model (Intel, Broadcom, Realtek).
- Ensure the correct kext (e.g., AirportItlwm or BrcmPatchRAM) is loaded in your config.
- Clear network interfaces and reset NVRAM if changes don't apply.
Verification
- Reboot and verify if the functionality is restored and stable under typical usage.
Original Question:
I have successfully installed macOS Big Sur using OpenCore and using the Dortania guide. Everything works properly except Bluetooth. It does not show in the System report. I have IntelBluetoothFirmware.Kext and IntelBluetoothInjector.kext both enabled in the config.plist file and they are present in the Kext file. I am attempting this on Dell Inspiron 7373 with Intel Bluetooth and a WIFI card Intel 7260. The wifi works fine and when booting into a live Linux USB the Bluetooth functions properly.
