Some background:

A few weeks ago i tried installing Catalina with vanilla guide. It took me several hours to get it to boot only for it to end in a kernel panic.

Turns out i messed up because i used a prebuilt SSDT so i used SSDTTime to dump one and it worked. After a few hours i got bored of it because of the UI and audio not working so i decided to try Big Sur.

I used my existing catalina efi files but updated kernel patches and smbios to install big sur.

Everything seems to work so far but gaming is a hit or miss with some games not performing as they should and the fonts are a little too blurry for my taste but it's not a big problem.
