How to Fix Razer Blade Pro (2019) Big Sur 11.2.2 - Success

This mini-guide provides a structural approach to troubleshoot and fix the issue.

Prerequisites

  • Confirm your hardware specifications (CPU, GPU, Motherboard).
  • Ensure you have a bootable recovery USB and backup your EFI.

Fix Steps

  1. Verify your network controller model (Intel, Broadcom, Realtek).
  2. Ensure the correct kext (e.g., AirportItlwm or BrcmPatchRAM) is loaded in your config.
  3. Clear network interfaces and reset NVRAM if changes don't apply.

Verification

  • Reboot and verify if the functionality is restored and stable under typical usage.

Original Question:

Took few days, tweaks and hours spent on the forum but everything seems to be working great at last! Been about 5 days of daily usage, no crashes and constant battery life. Build based on Big Sur 11.2.2

Hardware:

  • CPU: i7 9750H
  • GPU: RTX2060
  • RAM: 16GB
  • Laptop Make and Model: Razer Blade Pro 17 2019
  • SSD: Samsung Evo 970 512GB
  • Audio Codec: ALC298 AppleALC alcid=16
  • Wifi/BT Card: BCM94352Z
  • BIOS revision: 1.04

Working:

  • 144hz
  • Wi-Fi / Bluetooth
  • Ethernet
  • Keyboard backlight
  • Trackpad
  • Battery status (after few changes seems to be lasting about the same as Windows)
  • Sleep/Hibernation
  • Webcam - iMessage/Facetime
  • Audio
  • Dual boot

Not working:

  • RTX 2060
  • Palm rejection - quite big touchpad and I've noticed accidental touches way more than on windows

I used these repos to get started:
