Original Question:

Hi Everyone,

I have an old nuc that wasnt being used for anything. I installed High Sierra on it and then direct upgrade to Catalina. When I open up the app store, the machine freezes. It boots quickly has sound and network working (wired, I dont have a wireless card installed yet). I was curious of any thought on why that would happen?

The specs are:

i5-4250U
8gb of ram (playing on upgrading to 16)
Intel HD-5000 graphics
Crucial 240gb SSD
