Will 2017 MacBook Air i7 work for OCLP?

Specifically, I'm wondering if adding a big SSD will provide enough memory swap space to compensate for only 8g of Ram for running Sonoma/Sequoia

I'm already well aware it will be hard on the SSD but I am going for a cheap upgrade over my 2012 MBP for running OCLP. TIA
