Best OS for MBP 2015?

Hi guys, i recently discovered this community and OCLP, and i was wondering if someone could help me more about this.

Currently, im using a:

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)
CPU 2,7 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5
RAM 8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
GPU Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB
STORAGE 1TB Samsung SSD (upgraded)

It's running macOS Monterey 12.7.6

I use this macbook for dj-ing 99% of the time, sometimes for some lightwork. I've noticed that it runs slower than before, thought it was because its old.

DJ software works fine, rarely has stutters, but overall laptop feels slower. I have not tried "clean" install of macOS but decided to give OCLP a shot.
Saw that community favours Sequoia for older macbooks, it feels better and has better performance than Monterey.

So i kindly ask for help, in terms of:
Should i do it?
Is it stable so it doesn't crash mid-work (performance)?
Can my specs handle it?
Which OS should i use?
Is there a tutorial or blog that i can follow step by step?
Is there something i need to know more about before going deeply into this?
