Trying macOS Tahoe on MBP 2012
While macOS Tahoe is not officially supported by the main OCLP branch yet, enthusiasts use modified versions to test it on Ivy Bridge Macs.
What to Expect:
- Graphics: You will likely lack full Metal acceleration until the OCLP team ports the HD 4000 drivers to Tahoe.
- Stability: Expect bugs with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Always keep a bootable Sonoma or Monterey USB handy for recovery.
- Installation: Use the OCLP-Mod builds and ensure you have a backup of your data before proceeding.
