Running macOS Tahoe on 2015 MacBook Air
Experimental builds of macOS Tahoe are now being tested on Broadwell-based Macs like the 2015 MacBook Air.
Known Issues and Fixes:
- Wi-Fi Status: Currently, the Modern Wireless stack in Tahoe is highly unstable for Broadwell cards. Users often have to use a USB Wi-Fi dongle temporarily.
- Graphics: Intel HD 6000 graphics have partial acceleration, but you may see glitches in Safari or when using Stage Manager.
- Root Patches: Ensure you are using the latest OCLP-Mod by Ybronst or other community developers who are porting the kexts to Tahoe.
- Recommendation: This is for testing only. Do not use Tahoe on your primary machine yet.
